The Suburban Building Officials Conference was organized in 1946 as a result of increasing development in suburban areas, and the lack of codes to regulate design and construction.
S.B.O.C. has demonstrated its commitment to safeguarding the public safety, health and general welfare through construction standards and building codes.
S.B.O.C. is a Chapter of the International Code Council (I.C.C.) and a Preferred Provider of education approved by the I.C.C. Our I.C.C. Preferred Education Provider number is #1052.
