The new Illinois Accessibility Code (71 Ill. Adm. Code 400) was accepted at the October 16, 2018 Joint Committee on Administrative Rules.  We appreciate the input we have received from various individuals and organizations during the development of the Code and for your patience as we worked through the process to get the new Code in place.  The new Illinois Accessibility Code is effective immediately and can be viewed and/or printed at https://www2.illinois.gov/cdb/announcements/2018/Documents/Register%20Page.pdf.   A reformatted and more user friendly version of the Code will be published on our website in the near future.  We will send a notification when it is ready.
